F.A.Q
Question:   Is it illegal to have tint on my vehicle or boat?

Answer:  No.  Every state is different but in the state of Michigan you are allowed to tint every window on your car as dark as you want, except for the windshield and driver and passenger door.  You are however allowed a 4 inch strip on the driver and passenger side windows.  As far as boats go, coast guard requires that any window which obstruct view of the operator have to be clear and without any sort of tint, but some boats actually come factory with a light film on the windows.

Question:    Why should I tint my windows?

Answer:    Some people like tint because it adds a very clean effect to any car and makes a car look very classy.  Others like it more for the everyday benefits, think about this for a minute.  The Suntek film I apply on vehicles comes in shades of 5%  ,  20%   , and 35%.   5 being limo tint, 20 being close to a factory tint I.E. mini vans or SUVs, and 35 being a light smoke.  No matter what shade you go with, you are going to block 99% of UV rays hitting your windows throughout the day, that means a cooler car in the summer, and a warmer car in the winter.  That means your protecting your child in the backseat of the suns harmful rays.  That means you are protecting your cars interior against fading or cracking, we've all seen it.  Even just the privacy aspect of having your windows tinted is a great luxury in itself.

Question:  What makes you different from anybody else?

Answer:    First and most important is our prices.  You can pay anywhere from 240-500 dollars to have your average four door car tinted and most of the time it's with a 3 year film which is going to fade a few years down.  We offer the most competitive pricing around, and in most cases you can get your car tinted for under $200.00.  Also, we are mobile, we come to your home or office and can apply the film to your windows usually in a day depending on the job.  In some cases, provided adequate conditions apply, we can tint your automobile in your home garage.

Question:   What do I clean my windows with?

Answer:    This is one thing that cannot be stressed enough because it is so important.  You must NEVER clean your windows with any cleaner which has Ammonia in it (EX: Windex).  No matter how quality the film, it will eventually react with the dye in the film and turn it a purple color which looks terrible.  Any window cleaner works good, its all about preference.  Our manufacturer recommends just plain soap and water or a dry microfiber towel.

Question:   How much do you charge?

Answer:  A lot of cars vary in price but most 2 door cars are $140, and most 4 door cars are $200.00.   To match 2 front windows to the rear windows, generally pricing is $50.  Residential and buildings are impossible to give a price range without seeing the windows first hand because of different measurements and for commercial windows we offer a wide range of shades and colors of film that we can apply.
